I was reading on MMA Junkie that the UFC is trying to put Teixeira against Shogun Rua. Unfortunately, he seems completely uninterested in it. Shogun is one of my favourite fighters of all time. I imagine that he doesn't want the fight as he wants to fight someone higher up the ranks rather than an up and comer (and potential future champion). I don't think Shoguns heart should come into question - I think this is all to do with UFC politics. Perhaps he will take the fight on the condition that if he wins this one he will get a fight against a top 5 fighter in his next fight.
